PENNY

Written by: Elise Davis, Clint Wells

I toss penny and make a wish, watch it sinking in,
Threw all the change that I had left, said to hell with it,
I leave your house with nothing but a smile and old makeup,
Messy hair, high heels, and your favorite t-shirt,

Don't want you to think that I'm too sweet,
Honey I'm a lot of things but I ain’t naive,
I’ll never beg you to be with me,
But ill wish for it on a penny,

I leave the door unlocked again, incase you wander in,
Sleepy head in my bed I don't care where you been,
Or where were going, I just want you to kiss me now,

Don't want you to take your eyes off me,
Honey I'm a lot of things but I ain’t naive,
I’ll never beg you to be with me,
But ill wish for it on a penny,

If it all goes wrong I think we still could get along,
Just know, for now, it’s on,

in my heart I hope that you're falling for me too,

Don't want you to think that I'm too sweet,
Honey I'm a lot of things but I ain’t naive,
I’ll never beg you to be with me,
But ill wish for it,
You know I’ll wish for it,
I’ll wish for it,
On a penny.
